I am sure by now most of you have heard about this or seen this picture. But here it is anyway. Unbelievable! One of the largest freshwater fish caught in the world was netted in Thailand. This fish ended up dying before they could release it back into the water, but they chopped it up and gave it to the people in the city. I was always told by my grandpa to use hotdogs to catch catfish, but in this case you might need a dog as bait. Craziness!
I am sure most of you have heard by now, but there are rumors that the Yankees are going to trade Gary Sheffield to the Mets for Mike Cameron. Now, I understand that I'm not a GM or MLB Owner, but when you are trying to better your team, wouldn't it make sense to trade the players that stink and keep the good ones? I understand that Sheff is making good money, but he along with Jeter and Matsui have been your only consistant offense the entire season. Or could it be that the Yanks are going to rid themselves of all their high dollar players and actually rebuild like the Yanks of the 80's? Wouldn't it be great to see the Yanks in last place for awhile! Good luck Sheffield, go to the other NY team that is over the hill and throw punches at their fans.

I bought MLB 2006 today at Wal-Mart, which is unusual for me. I am an EA Sports guy and I am going to continue to be an EA Sports guy. So, I have put MLB 2006 on Ebay and have already purchased MVP Baseball 2005. But if you are interested in getting MLB 2006, you can buy my copy on Ebay. I only played it for 15 minutes, so it's basically brand new! My seller name is mtsterlingyp (item# 8198990730) and it will be on for 24 hours, so check it out ASAP!
Well I must correct my earlier post where I predicted that the Piston's would be repeating to win back to back titles. I am happy to post that things are looking positive for the San Antonio Spurs as they lead the series 2-0. I grew up loving the Spurs for 2 reasons, one... the Cavs weren't very good. Second... David Robinson! It's hard not to like David Robinson, plus the Admiral is a committed believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. Well, David retired, but didn't leave us Spurs fans hanging. In comes Tim Duncan and like Robinson it's hard not to like Duncan. Tim is arguably the best player in the entire NBA, however, you never see him on ESPN for getting into fights or technicals or causing problems off the court. Tim Duncan has a great focus on life and on his career in the NBA, so I tip my hat to the Spurs and wish them luck as they finish out this NBA Finals run.
I support Iron Mike Tyson as much as the next person, because he's the only boxer that demands the attention of the World. It's just too bad he has no gas left in the tank. It's time for Iron Mike to take Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders by the hand and walk into retirement!
